Recreation and Aquatics Centers Feasibility Study

Recreation and Aquatic Facility Feasibility Study Rendering

An indoor aquatic center and an indoor recreation center were ranked as the first and third most important future needs for improvements in the 2022 Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan community survey.

The City has contracted with Opsis Architecture to develop a robust recreation facility feasibility study grounded on the community needs identified in the 2022 PROS Plan to identify and evaluate potential locations and design concepts for an aquatics and recreation center and a community recreation center.

What is a facility feasibility study?

Facility feasibility studies are used to identify what sort of building(s) could be sited at different locations and what features they might include. The study will include preliminary geotechnical site evaluation, an environmental evaluation of the natural and built environment, and other due diligence processes.
