Housing Kirkland continues to grow. Finding housing can be difficult, especially for those already experiencing housing insecurity. The City will continue to strive to house Kirkland’s residents at all income levels.
Land Use Land Use decisions guide how Kirkland will grow over the next 20 years, as we plan to accommodate new housing units and jobs as required by Washington state. Land use policies determine appropriate uses and intensities (e.g., height, massing) of the built environment citywide.
Parks, Recreation, and Open Space The Parks Element supports the continued provision of accessible and well-maintained parks and recreation facilities.
