LIFEBRIDGE (11725 NE 118th St.)
Work began in late November on an extension of 118th Avenue Northeast that, when finished in spring 2018, will connect Northeast 118th Street to Northeast 116th Street. The new street is part of Lifebridge’s five building, 562-home project on the north side of Northeast 116th Street. The Lifebridge development features a five-story, 153-unit senior housing building, two six-story, apartment buildings, a three-story parking garage and a recreational center. The developers will be incorporating the Christ Church of Kirkland basement into a three-story parking garage. The 82-townhome Vareze project on the south side of Northeast 116th Street will install a traffic signal at the intersection of Northeast 116th Street and 118th Avenue Northeast.
