Juanita Beach has been reopened as of today, May 28, for swimming, wading and other water activities, by recommendation of Public Health – Seattle & King County. The beach had been closed to swimming for one week due to elevated bacteria levels.

People & Pets Recommended to Stay Out of the Water at Juanita Beach

Beginning May 20, 2025, Public Health – Seattle & King County is recommending that people and pets stay out of the water at Juanita Beach Park for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels. Signs will be positioned to indicate that people and pets should stay out of the water. The rest of Juanita Beach Park remains open.

This is a fundraiser for community service awards for local JHS students and so all gardens are within the North Kirkland catchment area of JHS. We have a variety of gardens to highlight: big gardens & small gardens, formal gardens & gardens prioritising local species, rain gardens & even some aviaries.
