Paper and Paint Recycling Collection Event

Kirkland's Recycling Collection Events allow residents to dispose of hard to recycle items. At the May 17th Event we will only be accepting paper for shredding and paint for recycling.

Kirkland will host another Recycling Collection Event on May 31st! The May 31st event will collect many more types of materials for recycling you can find more information about the May 31st event on the event webpage.

 

PAPER - CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENT SHREDDING

Shredding and recycling of confidential paper materials. Staples OK. No binder clips. Please bring paper to shred in paper bags for ease of recycling. Visit the WA Office of the Attorney General at Community Shred Events | Washington State for more paper shredding options.

LIMIT: 4 file-size (12"x12"x16") boxes or 5 paper grocery bags per car. No exceptions.

 

 

PAINT - OIL & LATEX (100 GALLON MAX.)

This category includes interior and exterior architectural paints including latex, acrylic, water based, alkyd, oil-based and enamel paint. Shellacs. lacquers and varnishes. Primers, sealers and stains. All products must be in original containers, with original label, and in liquid form. Cans do not need to be full. Visit www.paintcare.org for more recycling options.
