City Council to Hold Public Hearing to Continue Budget Deliberation

KIRKLAND, Wash. – As part of the November 6, 2024, City Council meeting, the City Council will continue its biennial budget deliberations by holding a consolidated public hearing on the 2025-2026 Budget, the 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program, and the 2025-2030 Transportation Improvement Program. The Council will also hold a public hearing on the City’s property tax levy.

The City Council is allowing digital presentations on a pilot basis beginning with the November 6, 2024, public hearings. To be shown by the public on November 6, a presentation must be received by the City Clerk’s Office by Wednesday, November 6 at 11 a.m. Please send digital presentations to CityClerk@kirklandwa.gov.

The Council will be discussing both the Preliminary 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program and the Preliminary 2025-2026 Budget during the November 6, 2024, Council Study Session, which begins at 5:30 p.m. The public hearing will be part of the business portion of the Council meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
