KIRKLAND, Wash. – For all those water-loving dogs, mark your calendars for the City of Kirkland’s 3rd annual “See Spot Splash” event on Saturday, September 9, 2023! This one-day event occurs at the Peter Kirk Community Pool, followed by dogs running next door to Lee Johnson Baseball Field for some off-leash playing.

“See Spot Splash is a fun, family-friendly event that’s popular with our furry loved ones and the humans who care for them,” said Councilmember Jon Pascal. “It’s the one time of year pet owners can share the pure joy of seeing their dogs jump into Peter Kirk Pool.”

See Spot Splash will have swimming sessions at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm. Registration is required for dogs to participate in a swimming session. Pre-registration is highly recommended. Paying upon entry may be an option depending on availability. This event will have music, treats, vendors and informational booths. Sponsored by Juanita Hills Animal Hospital.

To register, please visit www.kirklandparks.net. Please note: all dogs must be well behaved, on a leash to enter, and have their vaccines. Peter Kirk Community Pool is located at 352 Kirkland Avenue.

After the event, be sure to bring your happy dog up to City Hall for All at Kirkland City Hall located at 123 5th Avenue to explore Truck-a-Palooza, the small business expo, and more!
