KIRKLAND, Wash. – The Kirkland Police Department (KPD) invites community members to join officers for Coffee with a Cop on Thursday, December 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. at The Art of Coffee, located at 12348 NE 115th Place, Kirkland, WA 98033. Coffee with a Cop provides a relaxed, informal setting for residents to meet with local law enforcement, ask questions, share concerns, and offer suggestions for making Kirkland a safer, more welcoming community. There is no set agenda or speeches – just an opportunity for meaningful conversation. “Coffee with a Cop is a great way for us to connect with the community,” said Kirkland Police Chief Cherie Harris. “We want to hear directly from our residents about what matters most to them and how we can work together to keep Kirkland a great place to live, work, and visit.” While coffee is not provided, attendees are welcome to purchase a drink or simply stop by to join the conversation – no purchase is necessary to participate. The mission of the Kirkland Police Department is to protect and serve our community with honor, integrity, and courage. Learn more about the Kirkland Police Department.
