Learn Lifesaving Skills at a CPR, AED and First Aid Class

KIRKLAND, Wash. – Would you know what to do if you witnessed someone having a cardiac emergency? The Kirkland Fire Department, in partnership with the Medic One Foundation, is offering the tools to answer that question with confidence. Upcoming in-person CPR/AED and First Aid classes provide hands-on training that can help you make a life-saving difference during an emergency.
“Emergencies can happen anywhere, and knowing CPR could be the key to saving a life,” said Kirkland Deputy Mayor Jay Arnold. “With class attendance consistently at full capacity, we are thrilled to expand access to this vital training, ensuring more residents are prepared to help in critical moments.”
For attendees seeking American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/AED and First Aid training certification, one of the following fees would apply:
- CPR/AED Certified: $30
- CPR/AED & First Aid Certified: $60
For participants who do not require a certification card, classes are offered at no cost:
- CPR/AED Non-certified: FREE
- CPR/AED & First Aid Non-Certified: FREE
All class participants must be at least 12 years old. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is available for the following dates:
- January 15
- January 25
- February 12
- February 22
- March 5
