Kirkland, Wash – The City of Kirkland invites the community to attend Coffee with a Cop, an informal gathering that encourages communication between law enforcement professionals and community members.
The event takes place 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, at the Juanita Starbucks, located at 9721 N.E. 119th Way in Kirkland. This event was coordinated by the U.S. Marshals Service, and features representatives from the Washington State Patrol, the U.S. Marshals Service of Washington, the Federal Air Marshal Service and the Kirkland Police Department. “Coffee with a Cop is an awesome opportunity to engage with not only the Kirkland Police Department, but other local law enforcement agencies,” said Kirkland Police Department Chief Cherie Harris. “Our officers look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and enjoy a cup of coffee in a casual setting.” Guests are welcome to bring questions, concerns and conversation. We hope to see you there! If you have questions about this event, please contact Neighborhood Resource Officer Deana Lansing at 425-587-3451.
