Spring class series begins March 2
KIRKLAND, Wash. – This spring, current and aspiring entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to attend free workshops on a variety of topics from business marketing to financing for small businesses to the benefits of networking.
These classes are offered by Startup425 a collaboration between the Cities of Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah, Renton and the Port of Seattle. The four classes will be held between 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at various east side libraries and will focus on the following topics:

We will show you how to use the lean canvas to put all the pieces together in a compelling way to turn your idea into a new product or service, and then into a business.
Understanding How Marketing Can Help You Launch Your Small Business: An overview of the key marketing activities you need to work on when launching a new business will be covered. They include defining your target market, designing, pricing and packaging your product or service, and ways to promote your business at launch.
Understanding the Options for Financing Your Small Business: Explore the financing options for starting a new small business. We will help you determine the option that makes the most sense for supplying the capital your business needs.
How Partnering, Networking & Mentoring Can Help You When You Start a Small Business: Learn how developing partnerships with other small businesses, networking with other entrepreneurs and working with a mentor can support you when starting and growing your business.
