KIRKLAND, Wash. – The Kirkland Turkey Trot is Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Marina Park. A course map is available at kirklandturkeytrot.com. Drivers should expect traffic delays and parking restrictions in the area. Please note vehicles parked on the course will be towed prior to the event.

From 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm., the Lakeshore Plaza parking lot and Kirkland Avenue west of Lake Street will be closed to vehicles.

From 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., the Marina Park municipal boat launch will be closed.

From 8:50 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., southbound Lake Street at Kirkland Avenue and northbound Lake Washington Boulevard at Lakeview Drive will be closed with detours in place.

Event organizers expect 500 athletes will participate in the 3.1-mile race/walk which benefits Hopelink. Hopelink is a non-profit organization which primarily serves King County and operates programs for low-income residents. 

Event goers are encouraged to carpool and plan their parking in advance. Northeast 85th Street/I-405 Interchange weekend closures are expected.
