Celebrate Kirkland: Traffic Alert for 4th of July Parade Published on June 27, 2024 Drivers should expect traffic delays and restricted parking due to the 4th of July Parade to be held on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Juanita Beach Reopens and Waverly Beach Closes to Water Activity Published on June 11, 2024 Juanita Beach Park has been reopened as of today, June 11, for swimming, wading and other water activities, by recommendation of Public Health – Seattle & King County. Beginning June 11, 2024, Public Health – Seattle & King County is recommending that people and pets stay out of the water at Waverly Beach Park for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels.
