Juanita Beach Reopens and Waverly Beach Closes to Water Activity Published on June 11, 2024 Juanita Beach Park has been reopened as of today, June 11, for swimming, wading and other water activities, by recommendation of Public Health – Seattle & King County. Beginning June 11, 2024, Public Health – Seattle & King County is recommending that people and pets stay out of the water at Waverly Beach Park for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels.
