The Park Planning and Development division is responsible for park development planning, facility design, land acquisition, capital projects, construction management, grant preparation, and long range strategic policy planning for Kirkland's parks. The City's Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan serves as a six-year guide and strategic plan for managing and enhancing park and recreation services
We are currently working on a variety of projects to improve Kirkland's green space. A summation of monthly progress on each of our current projects can be reviewed in our Monthly Reports.
